Kevin reported to the board that the 9 service tax departments had been paying for the up keep of the system and most of the departments had a system. Last month they voted to stop the service contract due to cost.

Daryl Philbeck made motion 2nd by Steve Hamrick to sell the system, with departments in this county to have first chance to buy it.

Kevin Gordon will get with David Dear on how to sell it because it is on the county inventory system.

It is a 4-stage system, 3-phase power, and serviced last week

Fire Fighter Accountability System
Tabled due till next board meeting

The Board had a few questions.

Kevin will get with the committee about questions.

800-system report:

David Dodd reported that the VHF/ 800 crosspatch is up but with problems.

Delay time in VHF to 800, both radios on causing feedback. No tape back up at this time on 800 But that’s the easy fix.

The problem is as the 800 system is being installed at each tower the system would be taken down.

Fire Fighter safety on the top list the Board approved to make VHF the primary Radio.

The Cross Patch system will be taken down. The Comm. center will still dispatch on both systems at this time.

David will send out an email

Pension Fund for Volunteers.

Kevin Gordon reported after some time and at the request of the county commissioners. The county would like to pay for this fund on behalf of the Volunteers.

The Board made a Committee of

Bobby Horton

David Dodd

Daryl Philbeck

Dewey Cook
