Meeting
started at 600 pm
Ryan Cole with Code 3 Insurance talked about extra Insurance that would cover a injured firefighter
that would fill the pay gap that workers comp does not cover.
Larry Macintyre with Two way Radios told that he had a company that would buy the mintor 4, 3, and
some 2 pagers.
Treasurer’s Report given: $XXXX in the accounts.
Do have some departments that need to catch up on the Death Benefit Fund, if you are not sure about your Department
contact Brian Beatty.

Marshal’s Report:
Dewey thanked
everyone for their help and support for the Bobby Jones Ride.
Forest Service:
Association Library/TO Fund
Training Officers
640 pre enrolled for the
fall fire school November 12th, 13th, and 14th, 2010.
Have
about 5 house to burn and thanks for all the fire departments help.
800-Committee:
Talked about the new Fire Template moved the 8tac channels to zone 2 and
added Fire Ops 6 and Fire conference channels and also added state RRT Zone 8.
Jimmy Hensley (Grover) made
Motion for the Board to approve the new template and Steve Hamrick (Cleveland) 2nd .Board Voted and approved.
Chip Davis (Cleveland) talked
about a scan funkshon that Radio Mantance can program in to the radios, exp. If you are working a fire on a ops channel you
can still scan the main fire dispatch channel.
Kevin Gordon (Waco) talked about a Fire Service Radio SOG group, This group would work on SOG for dispatch
and the Fire Service. This way it would be in writing.
Todd McMurry(Polkville), Gene Stichcomb(Fallston), Jimmy Hensley(Grover), Brian Beatty(Fallston),
Dewey Cook(Fire Marshal), Perry Davis(Fire Marshal) and about Two People from Dispatch, and will report back at the next meeting.
New Business
Jake Whisnant talked about the Cleveland County
Firefighters Association Honor Guard, Still need members, the next meeting will be in December.
They are look to do a fund drive to help raise
money to offset the cost to the departments. The Board Approved to have a Fund Drive with the money go to the Cleveland County
Firefighters Association earmarked to Honor Guard.
Also would try to have a Badge, Patch, and Uniform for the Board to approve at the next Firefighters
Association.
Todd McMurry talked about MDA
pass the Boot, he had the stuff and would be getting with each department to get this done and the that the board approved
to do this.
