Treasurer’s Report:

Fire Marshal’s Report:
 Perry Davis, No date set at this time for ISO inspection of Polkville FD and Casar FD.
The Office is working on county response maps (this is the 2^nd and 3^rd department’s response).

Someone from the office will be getting in contact with the chiefs of each department some time soon.

Rural Fire Commission Inspection: no date set at this time.
C-43 will be C-42 after the changeover to 800 system but he will start using at after tonight.

Forest Service:
Grant stuff should be coming in soon

Training Committees
Training Officers

Looking to have a training officers meeting mid August. Eddie will be emailing info.

College Training Committee

Fall Fire School coming up. Books are at the printers.
RT Class has been renamed to TR class. Jimmy gave each department the cross over paper work for this class.
August 14^th will be the graduation of the Fire Cadet Class.

800-system report:

Mark Dellinger, Daryl Sando gave report on Motorola System.

Motion by Jimmy Hensley 2^nd Bobby Jones to make cut over August 4^th, 2009 for county Radios

Roll call vote, 100 present passed of departments there.

Notes:

The Comm. Center, will Dispatch on Fire Dispatch. Dispatch the call on the fire channel, assign an ops channel. It will be up to command to have units switch to the assigned ops channel. If another ops channel is needed, command will ask the comm. center for a channel. When the fire is under control dispatch will leave the channel.

For Basic calls there may be no need to leave the Fire dispatch channel. That will be up to command.

Dispatch on your VHF will receive only. The only channel you can talk to the county on will be volunteer 

Association Library/TO Fund: No Report

Chief Hunt (Shelby FD) told that he was running for the Statistician office for the North Carolina State Firemen's Association and was looking for support from the departments.
