Cleveland County has a population of about 96,287 residents covering 460 square miles.

The Association is composed of 16 Fire Departments Volunteer and Paid,
One level 2 haz-mat team and 2 Forrest rangers protecting the county.
Each department has the highest training standards, which requires each firefighter
to train a minimum of 36 hours yearly.

On a yearly average the departments respond to over 3000 fire calls.

To out fit a new firefighter with firefighting gear the average cost is $5000.00 dollars

A new Pumper to meet the OSHA and NFPA standards has a cost on average of $350000.00 dollars
